Kinetika is proud to announce the partnership with Lanternhouse International, Pax Nindi, Upswing and Walk the Plank as co-delivery partners on Imagination Our Nation. Imagination Our Nation is by far the most ambitious carnival project in the UK to date. The story will unfold over the next five years around notions of identity, belonging and citizenship in the run-up to the London Olympics. The project will culminate in a large-scale finale event in 2012 in which we envision 100 large puppets arriving in East London from around the country and then in turn welcoming the world to the new 'city' of East London. The strong partnership will work across the UK and across art forms with up to 30 regional delivery partners across the UK and 10 international partners in order to deliver an ambitious, nationwide collective story. Imagination Our Nation begins in 2008 with Germination. A comprehensive schedule of events will be performed under this banner, many for the Olympic Handover and the Launch the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
