Nicola Griffiths graduated from the University of Central England with a BA in Fashion and Textiles; she has further studied textiles at Central St. Martins, London Printworks and London College of Fashion, and business at Portobello Business centre. Nicola has worked extensively leading workshops in print design with Creative Partnerships, Cloth of Gold, Greenwich & Docklands Festival, Walsall New Art Gallery.

Nicola has led schools workshops with Kinetika across London in costume making, printing, batik and design. In 2004 she was a commissioned artist for the winning Notting Hill band produced by Kinetika. Nicola has had experience of the fashion industry assisting with silkscreen printing for samples for Eley Kishimoto, working on a design project with Liberty and Burro menswear. She runs her own women’s wear fashion label – Jessica James.
